You could average them out.

As all Burnham will do is ship the section to the supplier that fills out the warranty order form, there is little Burnham can be faulted on other than having to wait for availability of the section. Burnham will be very difficult to deal with if you are a homeowner, as they only need to work with the supplier and the qualified contractor as stated in the warranty - not you.

This way of business is traditionally done so the engineers and sales force doesn't have to educate a novice as to normal parts business practices and boiler operation - the pros know that already. It isn't the same situation as shouting up a storm about not getting the right food order at a restaurant.

You are really asking what the supplier that the repair contractor went to did in the process.
