Either one will do; but as they are cast iron boilers, they need exchangers or devices to allow them to run water at less than 140F to prevent condensing. It is a similar situation to asking which car is satisfactory for getting groceries, a Cadillac or a Mercedes.

I'd prefer another route using a boiler that has no problems at low water temperatures, like a Munchkin or similar small tube boiler with a buffer tank, like on the bottom of the referenced page:
