: : It would be better to declare how you have the boiler pipe to the main.
: : Check off one:
: : A. The main from the radiation goes to the inlet of the boiler and the outlet of the boiler goes out to the radiation.
: : B. The returns from the radiation are tied directly to the main that goes to the radiation AND the boiler supply and return tie into the main on tees in the main about a foot apart.
: : If A, then the Grundfos isn't working.
: : If B, there should be ANOTHER circulator in one of the pipes going to or from the boiler.
: -- B sounds closest to my setup.
: I plan to change the circ location this weekend from the return side to the supply side. I really think that will take care of it. I'll keep you posted.
It still doesnt work right. I switched the location of hte circulator to the supply side and by-passed the external controller. It worked great for a while, but the outdoor temp was up to about 45 degrees. When it got cold again the system water couldn't keep up. I'm out of ideas. I wish I bought a regular boiler instead of the Revolution. At least I'd get the hot water out of a traditional boiler, none of the internal circuit and pump to contend with.
