I wrote to Honeywell to find out if they
make a T-stat that will automatically
return to a preset condition in the event
my spouse gets up at nite to pee and finds
her feet cold, cranks up the T-stat for heat
and of coarse the heat is now running all
nite because (the higher she sets it the
faster she will warm her feet).
I suggested that 15 or 30 minutes should be
enough time for her to get back to sleep and
a reset would be nice.
They suggested the RTH230B which resets in
2 hours or durring the next programmed time.
That is a step in the right direction, but
2 hours of Steam heat is too much.
Do you know the specs on this T-stat and if
it is steam compatable?
I am thinking of looking into the schematic at the
timer circuit to see if it is adjustable.
Thanks
