There is a crawl space, and I have looked but
see no straps. The pipe up to the hadd is a
feeder off a main line about 1 foot offset.
I figure if it had slipped it would be able to
be raised bu pulling up. The radiator does
look like new condition, and there were no
marks on the floor where it might have been before.
I am goint to put 1/2 in backer board and
1/4 inch tile on the floor so the valve will be
left only about an inch from the new floor.
I went to a wrecking yard and bought a new old
radiator much taller and bigger to put in its
place and will have to make a 4 inch offset
to get down to the old valve. I hope two
1 1/4" street elbows will do the trick.
For $50 I hope I got a good deal.
