Nothing can be worst than moving into a new house during winter period to find the new house boiler doesn't work. Especially with young children, this is a nightmare.
I wonder if anyone may point me to the right direction or advice, any information would be much appreciated.
The boiler is an Orion Fanfare 40si made by Thorn EMI Heating (I think). This sometime works and provide just enough heat for the house, but it has been out of order a few times, now it has completely packed in.
I could see the pilot light, but 100% sure the main flame is not lighting up. I could hear a steady interval of 'clicks' inside the boiler, and discover a red flashing LED on the PCB under the front panel that synchronises with the 'click'. I believe this may be the cause of the problem, but not very sure.
I would appreciate any advice please.
