I would go with the Buderus. Better designed 3 pass boiler with flex cast iron. Logimatic controls are excellent and offer you outdoor reset and priority on the indirect tank. WH's are leakers: use gasketed sections, 40 yr old design. There are no parts on the boiler: all the parts that need replacing are the burner, circ pumps, expansion tank, which are the same brand names everyone uses: Beckett and Carlin burners, Taco pumps, etc. Some might suggest not getting a Riello burner since the parts are harder to get and some techs have not worked on them.
