Thanks Harold. I thought so but wasn't sure.
I opened that vent a fraction of a turn and the air seems to have flushed out.

Are you saying that it is filling often? Wouldn't that suggest a leak somewhere?

Also, the mist coming out has an antifreeze smell to it. I thought plain water was in there.

: The mineral deposits indicate that the water has been evaporating from the surface for a long time. The pressure reducing valve has probably clogged from all the filling.
