I am looking to see if my boiler is operating correctly. It was newly installed in May of '03 as a
condition of purchase for our new home. It is a Hydro Therm 150 and seems to do a very fine job of providing all the baseboard and hot water heat we need. My concern is that it is very loud and wakes us sometimes as it is located just beneath the master bath. Additionally,it seems to cycle on very frequently. At night it kicks on often, sometimes as often as every two minutes then off again , then starts over. Sometimes it kicks on but then shuts off after only a second or two. It certainly does not seem to be very efficient running this way. Should it be looked at and is there anything that can be done to reduce the noise?
