Hi,
I have a Britony Combi SE 80 boiler installed which has a problem with DHW supply.
If you turn the water on to a fairly high flow rate, it will sometimes engage the microswitch to fire the boiler up - only a slightly higher flow rate will cause the switching mechanism to pass over the switch and the boiler to switch off. If the boiler does fire up then the hot water will fluctuate over a wide range of temperatures. If you switch the DHW mode off, the initial pulse of water is often warm if the heating has been on and the boiler therefore still hot.
I would expect some, or all of this behaviour is caused by a faulty diaphragm - anyone any other suggestions to investigate when i take it apart??
In addition, the boiler intermittently throws up an error relating to a fault in the ionization circuit. This has been OK for several months at a time before happening again - time for a new PCB I take it?
Thanks
