My boiler is an oil fired Weil Mclein about 15 years old. The heating side of it works fine, however, when the shower is used,at first the water is nice and hot, but quickly gets cold. after you let the cold water run for approx 8 minutes, the boiler fires and you start to get WARM water again. why does such a long period of time pass for the boiler to fire to reheat water. It is a tankless system that has worked well up untill about 6 mos. ago.
