The 36C53 series is the newer valve with redundant safety valves, which your old one didn't have, so is better. It does have the capacity for yours and would be slow-opening, which offers some quiet. You've added the energy-saving devices that would be worthwhile as far as the boiler. A plan to completely improve the insulation to the house is a productive route to money savings.
