You definitely want to get away from the tankless coil, so an indirect is the way to go. I was all set on getting the System2000 myself, but I didn't go for the price. But if you're cramped for space they do have the model on a stand with a low-boy 40 gal booster tank underneath. It is a tinny boiler, so it allows you to get into tight spaces. Buderus and Crown have veticle tanks that can have the boiler placed on top if that's a space savings help.
