Hi, I have a hanging forced air furnace in my barn with a standing pilot. I want to put one of those retrofit kits in it so pilot only comes on when it needs to heat. Does it matter what kit you get? Do you have to get the right gas valve, The gas valve wont change the btu of the furnance will it? What changes the btu? Thanks.
