I've just repaired a couple small leaks in my hot water radiant system. Can I (or should I) now close the main shut-off valve in the water make-up line? It seems like a good idea, in case some ruptures while I'm away from home. It's a closed system with an expansion tank. The boiler has protection circuitry to keep it from firing, but it's possible for water to keep flowing in case of a break. Thanks!
