A pilot relight control is a control that relights a standing pilot whenever it might go out. A spark-to-pilot ignition control lights the pilot and then when the pilot flame is sensed, the main gas valve can open. When the sensor doesn't sense the pilot, depending on which model you have, the pilot can lock out after three tries. To get it to try again, the power to the boiler is turned off and turned on again.

You probably have the samo-samo sensor cleaning and connection tightening problem native to ALL gas electronic ignitions. Read:
