I have two radiators that use the same condensate pipe that is leaking. I fixed the leak by turning off the radiators. The cost to fix the leaking pipes would is worth two radiators turned off. However, it just I just had an idea seeing that some steam systems only have one pipe. Could I disconnect the condensate side of these two radiators and have just the single pipe from the steam side allow condesate to run down it? What other changes would I need to make to the radiators? Would I need to install and valves or anything?
