Hi, I've just replaced one of my normal mercury switch thermostat (White-Rodgers) with a brand new Honeywell visionPro8000. I connected the two wires to the C and R terminals of the new Honeywell and left the jumper between the RC & R terminal. I get power to the new Thermostat and was able to program it but it doesn't seem to turn the heat on. I'm sure I have a wiring issue but the instructions that come with the new thermostat are pretty vague. I have low 27 V AC power supply that goes to the thermostat which returns back to a zone control valve. I've created a schematic of the wiring I presently have for anyone that could help me out. Just send me your e-mail address and I'll forward the disgram to you. I'm really puzzle but have never realy worked a great deal on heating boiler system but know electronics very well and am quite comfortable with house wiring, BUT this is very new to me. My next options is to call a professional but I'm sure someone out there could help me out. THANKS.
