When I cleaned my 4 year old Peerless WVB04 hot water boiler last week there were six of the cast iron heat exchanger pins laying in the bottom of the combustion chamber. They were there before cleaning, not bumped during brushing. The pins aren't rusty, they are clean grey CI. It is a cold start with a Superstor indirect for DHW. What's up with the casting and the pins? I've never seen thatbefore.
