Removing air pockets (creating noise) in pipes

I had a hot water system extended up to a second floor recently and I can't find any type of bleeder gadget anywhere throughout the copper piping (even on the original first floor). There used to be radiators on the first floor which I think you used to be able to bleed, but now I just have baseboard units which the copper pipes merely pass through. Doesn't sound like it was installed to meet code requirments, unless there is a way to bleed the unit somewhere on or near the furnace itself. Curious what I need to do to bleed the system. The noise from the air pockets in the piping is unbelievably annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated....
