: I think Dave is pulling our leg Joe. He asked all this last January in over a dozen emails and posts on this board.

: If after all that consultation, the 0012 was left in for the rest of the season, the boiler wasn't changed to a modulating one or locked to low fire, and nothing changed, then what is the purpose of discussion? An unloaded 0012 will wear and make noise.
I just read this today....the reason why i have come back to the board is because numerous people that I have had come to the house have NO IDEA what to do when confronted with my boiler setup. I have had one of the best heating companies in the area come, and they added a bypass in the totally wrong area.
For every person who says the pump is oversized, 2 will say there is no issue with the pump. Some say we should replace the boiler. Others say it should work as is. My original installer says that we are the only people who have any problems with our system and that it is piped the same as all others.
I have had at least 5 or 6 companies come and have presented them with your recommendations, and that is the last I see of them.
I am to the point that i will be getting a lawyer and suing the original contractor.
