When someone had come to price out repiping the loop, they had asked if we run out of hot water. I had said that the only time that happens is when we fill up our whirlpool tub (about 80 gal). They had said that the 007 pump was to blame. I'm just trying to figure how much of this is a necessity and how much is overkill.
Originally, the guy who installed the Phase III (same one who put in the boiler) had the boiler loop for the Phase III piped with 3/4", and I made him change it to 1 1/4", which he was not happy about. He had said that he piped one with 1/2", and it worked "fine"
So, we should keep the 007?
