Hi,
When removing my boiler coil for cleaning I mistakenly thought I had to disconnect the Sensing Element of my Aquastat from the Aquastat 8124A Circuit Board. I took the 4 screws that hold the sensing element cover to the circuit board. When I did this, a 1/4" metal cylinder fell out. I assume this is the piece that makes contact to turn the relay/on and off. I am not sure which direction this metal piece goes back in. It is concave on both ends but both ends are not exactly the same. Thanks in advance!
