I have a crown boiler gas/steam my problem is last year the boiler got so hot it melted the plastic cover on the pressure guage and tripped the stack sensor I couldn't reset it so I bought a new one it worked fine for a while now its a new season and its acting up. I thought there might of been a stack restriction or rust between the boiler but it is clean as a whistle. It does have a auto water feeder.
Can someone send me in the right direction? Could it be a intermintent trouble with the low water cutoff or water feeder?
