hi i have the same boiler as you, and have had the same part mended twice and it has now gone again. My boiler is only three years old and they have now redesigned them. Vallient are no help at all and the boiler is basically crap. I am in the process of going to watchdog and other organisations to see where i stand but every time it goes it is the diverter valve and my local plumb centre has told me it is a common fault with these boilers and advised me to change the boiler like i can afford that!!!! anyway hope you have better luck with yours than i have had with mine
