I have a brand new burnham boiler. On my old system, the oil company servicing our unit told us we had to flush out the water on a weekly basis to clean out the sediment. On our new boiler, the water in the glass tube looks dirty, but our inspector told us not to flush it out, or add new water, because we'd be introducing too many minerals into the system. The manual for the Burnham boiler doesn't say anything about needing to flush it out, but I'm concerned with all the sediment that appears in the tube. Help...what do I do?
