: "the living room radiator will not get heat because of the way the pipes are setup. "

: Control the system like a hot water system. You are trying to make a boiler system work like a warm air system; except that warm air systems do not have large cast-iron ducts to warm up first. You are trying to make the high temperature water hit the radiators to warm them up quickly; water systems take time.

: This is probably an older house with large steel pipes. If you set up the circulator to run all the time, the burner only has to go on when the thermostat calls for heat. The water will always be flowing to all the radiators. It doesn't have to be 180F when the weather is 40f outside; it will heat at cooler temperatures. Let the thermostat determine how hot the water has to be.

I may try out that idea tonight. I'm just worried with that method that the boiler will never stop running. Of course it's off and on now.
