Hi
Anyone who has any knowledge of WM GV2 Boilers would be a huge help. We inherited one of these in our new home, and it has done nothing but cause problems since we fired it up for winter.

Clanging noises to wake the dead which appeared to be related to a dysfunctional aquastat. This was replaced and clanging almost disappeared. However, it has started to come back.

In addition to this, the boiler has been leaking and leaving significant puddles on the floor. The HVAC Co maintains there are no leaks, but clearly there is one hiding somewhere. We cannot figure out the source ourselves.

Even having bled the radiators, the front section of the house (not connected with the zoning - ie both bed and living areas) does not heat as well as the back.

Today, the piece de la resistance: two zoned heat and the bedrooms are stone cold. Heat stopped at some point during the day and we cannot figure out the problem here. Living area is heating fine (above problem excepted).

The 'experts' we have been dealing with maintain we need a circulation pump on the exterior of the boiler, regardless of any of the above and this could run us up to $1,000. We did consult an engineer acquaintance and he said that an exterior circulation pump was unlikely to be the cause of the clanging noise.

Anyone, got anything - HELP. All comments gratefully appreciated.
