I hear you with respect to the over-engineering of my simple system, but a condensing/modulating unit isn't a standard CI boiler, either. I guess my concern is with proper flow through the boiler and the system. With the complimenting VM indirect, I'm not as concerned. My worry is what happens with the direct piping installation if the integrated pump isn't enough to move my system water, or it bottlenecks at the boiler?
