They have a very good steel boiler design that is small and efficient. You can do the same for a bit less money by using a boiler with an indirect tank and a three-way valve; but it does come already designed and planned as a well-thought-out system for the owner. As almost any oil boiler comes rated at 84% AFUE, there isn't much efficiency difference; but that isn't the only consideration.
