I just got my first bid for a Weil McLain Ultra 80 and the contractor bid $10,738 complete ($3520 for labor, $7218 for all materials). This is for 2 zones: basement and garage radiant, the floor tubing is already roughed in. The contractor is union and well respected in Chicago area but the quote blew me away. He also knows he is the first bid. Is this a little high or twice as high as it should be?
