Burnham Radiant Radiator banging

Hi, I've got a 1 pipe boiler / radiator system. All the radiators in the house are the standard type except for the one in the bathroom, it's a Burnham Radiant Radiator (http://www.burnham.com/radiator/58300.cfm) and is inset in the wall. When the heat comes on, it bangs loudly for about 5 minutes. I know the standard radiators can be raised on the opposite side of the inlet to let the water down, but this radiator is piped right in with copper pipe and can't be tipped. The pipe looks like it's perfectly horizontal. Does that pipe sound like the problem? If so, I'll try to cut off of the pipe going vertically and put a 45 on there.

Thanks,
Ron
