The 373 is the number of gallons that the circuit board believes has passed through the valve.  The flashing means that the display has rolled over past 999.

The VXT opens the valve on a call for feed and times how long the valve is open.  Since the feed rate of the valve is a regulated 1 gallon per minute, every 1 minute the valve is open represents 1 gallon on the display.  Your display flashing at 373 indicates that your feeder has fed over 1,372 gallons of water or that the flow through the valve may be blocked or stopped.  One thing to check would be the strainer at the base of the valve.  If it has clogged then it would restrict the flow through the valve.  Another would be to make sure that the valve is actually opening and passing water when the valve is powered.

Also, you should inspect the system for leaks in case the reading is correct.
