Two story log home. About 1000 sq on the ground floor. Baseboard loop was removed downstairs, existing baseboard loop left in place upstairs.

Utica boiler with Armstrong pump on the boiler (don't have the models right in front of me). Replaced the air vent and pressure tank on the scoop. Installed 1/2" Pex-Al in double runs throughout all the joist bays under the ground floor. 5 loops of approx 300 each all connected to manifold and manifold plumbed into old 3/4" baseboard feed and return lines including a mixing valve.

Ok on to the question. 007 pump installed feeding into the manifold and I plan to install a 503 relay to control both the upstairs zone valve (baseboard zone) and the downstairs radiant loops (left the zone valve in place from the baseboard install). Question is do I need to run the existing Armstrong pump that is attached to the boiler whenever the 007 runs to get water from the boiler to that zone?
