Vaillant boiler Norton Ignitor problem

We have had to replace the Norton ignitor for our Vaillant Boiler Model BA 100-8 HSIUD numerous times over the past 4 years and cannot determine a cause. Does anyone know of any retofit kits or other suggestions?
