So it sounds like I should just replace the boiler. I have 465 square feet of radiation as well as a hot water loop with 28 feet of baseboard heating to a room with a heat loss of 12,000 BTU. Right now the loop feeds off the lower tap of the boiler with a tempering valve.

Since a new boiler will have less water capacity, what size boiler should I use?

The Weil Mclean SGO4 is rated at 450 square feet of steam, while the SGO5 is rated at 542 square feet. Should I use the SGO5?

How should I best run the hot water loop? Off the tankless or the same way I am running it off a bottom tap of the boiler.

Thanks for your help.
