It happened to me too and the cause in my case was a worn diaphragm. Cost of new one is £12.40

: : Hello, I have a "Chaffoteaux et Maury - Corvec Britony II A" boiler and just recently the hot water it supplies upstairs has got colder and colder to the point now where it is only mildly hot at times.
: : The boiler flames up only when the hot taps are turned to full lock and will not flame up unless the dial settings for how much heat to use are set to maximum. The flow control also seems to do little when adjusted.

: : Can anyone tell me what is wrong with it?...it's getting worse and winter is coming.

: : Thanks
