***Your boiler might not be approved to be swapped to a 40 psig relief; the maker would be able to tell you.

***The expansion tank pressure would be set to the pressure found by filling to the top of the system.

When there is 4 pounds pressure at the top of the system, the air will be able to leave the automatic vents.
