Noisy Air Vents

I have a single pipe steam system that heats fine. My problem is that the air vents are so noisy they wake both my 2 year old daughter and 3 month old son.

Are all air vents this noisy?
Do I just need to adjust my vents?
If I do need to replace them, should I replace them all at the same time?
