I have hot water boiler system, the first floor has mosly copper baseboard(no fins just a 8 inch by 32 inch metal box)and is cold upstairs has radiators and is toasty warm. Some questions, how hard is it make a black pipe system into two zones? Some of the black pipe as it travels varies in diameter(from naroow to large to narrow, is that a problem? Should I put in radiators on the first floors?
