Hello All,
I need to replace some floorboards beneath my living room radiator. I have a one-pipe system, live in a 90 yr old building, and need to temporarily remove the radiator without affecting the other condos by shutting down the boiler. The radiator valve is turned off and the radiator cold (while the pipe before the valve is hot) before trying to loosen the union nut from the valve, is there anything I need to be aware of. There is probably still some water in the radiator. The radiator will be replaced with the original unit after the boards have been replace.
Thanks, Al.
