Paul,
Further to your message in March. Whilst I cannot come up with an answer for you, I just wondered whether you could assist in relation to a small problem relating to another Thorn M gas boiler?
My brother has just moved into a bungalow in the Isle of Wight where such a boiler is in the kitchen. The only problem, he advises me, is that the actual timer keys appeared to be jammed. Is there a recognised way of releasing them so that he can change the programme? Most grateful for any advice which you can provide. Thanks in advance. Keith Talbot

: Hi

: I am still using an old Thorn M Gas boiler ... yeah, I know ... it's OLD ... but it works!

: Am looking for a timer (programmer?) to rescue the gears from ... it looks fairly standard for boilers of that age so I suspect there are loads lying around ... anyone got an old one they don't want?

: (Hopefully a pic of the offending item will appear after this message ... or at least a link to it)

: Thanks

: Paul
