This is the setup that was in our home when we bought it and have since replaced the boiler and had to reconnect this set up. We have a small "sun room" on the side of the house and an addition to the kitchen that both have hot water "scavenger loops" running to them. There should be a tap or knock out on the side of the boiler toward the bottom for a loop out. You would connect from there and lead to a circulator pump. Pump would then send water through a zone relay which is connected to a thermastat in the room where you're putting the hot water baseboard loop. Then of course you need to run a pipe from the boiler to the room and into the baseboard heaters and around back to the boiler. You'll need to have an automatic feed installed on the boiler (if you don't already) as the water won't circulate out if the level is too low.

: Two years ago I replaced the old steam boiler (snowman) with a Superior Boiler (Steam). Recently we added an addition which is 500sq ft. I was told that a forced hot water system can be utilized by the use of a heat exchanger, circulator pump, and baseboard heaters. Is this true and where can I find components to install to add forced hot water heat to the new space. Preferred Websites and manufacturers requested.

: Thanks.
