They are a different design than most boilers with the vertical fin tube exchangers. While a sound design that do well for their owners, the different design can create dissatisfaction when installed by earlier forms of hominids.

When the installer follows the installation instructions that come in the box with the boiler to assure a minimum flow through the exchanger, perhaps with a flow sensor, bypass, loop-subloop, or mixing valve, the owner will be happy with the boiler. But when the clueless throw the boiler into a multi-zone system where low flows can occur, the boiler can complain. Make sure you have a well-informed installer.
