Loss of pressure - hot weather? Coincidence??

Hi
Noticed not much water in tank /low pressure so refilled - normally does the trick. Noticed that hot water goes cold after 10-15 seconds (boiler cuts out). If tap is turned on more (quite powerfully) it does come on again however the pressure is such that it doesn't heat up much.

Any quick fixes / tips appreciated before I get someone out.
