I have a 10 year old, 40 gallon Boilermate in-direct water heater. It is connected to a oil-fired boiler. The thermostat on the Boilermate tends to be erratic. The hot water can be super hot to luke-warm at any given time. I keep it set to about 4 1/2 out of 6. Too high for 1 person in a house.
I am having trouble finding a new thermostat. I was told by my heating oil contractor/service provider that the thermostats are no longer available. Can these thermostats be fixed or does anyone know a supplier where I can order one. Thanks in advance for your help
