I am considering using Burnham Spacemaster model wall mounted boilers for the radiant heat and indirect fired hot water tanks in two small townhouses that I am building as rental units. They are about 1100 square feet each. I would like to mount the boilers in the attic space, which has lots of room and good access. The space is directly over the bedrooms however and I wondered if anyone out there has installed one of these boilers and can give me an idea of how noisy they are. They are made to be installed inside a unit according to the spec sheets, but I am not sure what to expect as far as noise from the boiler. I have enough room that I could actually frame up another floor and add additional insulation below the boiler and above the bedroom cieling, which will already be insulated. Thanks for any input.
