: My hot water in the shower starts out hot but then gets cold very quickly. We have hot water coming out of our kitchen sink faucet though. I cannot figure it out. Is the problem in the boiler?

Nope if your boiler is the problem all faucets should have the same problem....

If your shower head just happen to be from Grohe, this is a common problem, snap it of by pressing the 2 buttons and inside you'll see a filter, take a small screwdriver and RAM it down the filter, and pull the screwdriver + filter back out.

Even if it's not a Grohe, check if you have enough waterflowrate when you are mixing hot and cold together. Most heaters (except the new VUW /3 and /5) need +5.5 L per minute of water, or they won't start up or if you or a thermostatic faucet starts mixing the water, and you fall under this 5.5L per minute of HOT water it will shut down too....
