My Radiator valves are adjustable and numbered 1 to 10. What number should I set a radiator at that takes a long time to get heat.The low numbers or the high numbers? If a radiator gets hot before the rest does it do any harm to turn the valve down to far? I'm so confused! I have read that adjustable valves don't work very well but I feel like I should give it a try anyway. How mush slant does a steam radiator need to make sure the cold water returns on my one pipe system?
