I recently purchased a home with a Sears Homart boiler Sears model 867.7257. Input 140,000 btu. It is about 50 years old. This runs a hydronic heating system with copper (?) panels buried in a terazzo floor above a concrete slab.
This is my first experience with this type heat.
What annual maintenance should be performed on the system? The previous owner showed me how to oil the pumps for the 3 zones, but that's all.
Does the boiler need to be bled?
Corrosion protection?
